Our physical therapists are certified in providing comprehensive evaluations of pregnant and postpartum women as they undergo anatomical and physiological changes. Physical therapy has proved beneficial to both the healthy pregnant client who wishes to continue an exercise regimen to the individual deemed high-risk and is bed bound during pregnancy. Specific dysfunctions treated include carpel tunnel syndrome, thoracic outlet syndrome, rib pain, diastasis recti, ostitis pubis, pubic, sacroiliac and coccyx joint problems, foot and back pain, and urinary incontinence. Our clinicians provide safe and effective abdominal and pelvic floor muscle exercise programs, biofeedback, and instruct clients in exercise guidelines through all phases of pregnancy and following delivery.
