Functional Capacity and Work Capacity Evaluations (FCE/WCE) Several of our therapists have completed courses on functional capacity evaluations, using both the Matheson and Blankenship systems. The evaluation is focused on the specific needs of the client and the entire evaluation is oriented around specific questions that the referral source and the employer wish to have answered regarding the client, with the final goal being case resolution. State-of-the-art technology is brought to bear, such as Computerized Maximum Voluntary effort testing. Digital Spinal Inclinometry (spinal impairment), B-200 back evaluation, Cybex Isokinetic Testing and Valpar equipment which gives information related to the client's performance with respect to the industrial time standard (MTM). The primary focus of the evaluation is case resolution and performing only those tests that will give useful information regarding the client's ability to work.
